The ECFA AGM was again an interesting gathering place where around 120 international colleagues met in a both professional and amicable atmosphere and new lines of force were discussed. The direction ECFA will take in the coming years will be co-determined by three new members on the ECFA Board. Mariella Harpelunde Jensen is a filmmaker and writer, and active within the association of Danish Children & Youth Film Clubs DABUF. Radka Hoffman represents Kruton, an organisation dealing with just about every segment of the Czech youth film landscape, from exploitation through festivals to distribution. Remke Oosterhuis is programme maker for the adventurous Dutch Taartrovers collective. With their diverse backgrounds and expertise, they will enrich the ECFA Board with new impetus and a fresh dash of energy.

The ECFA Board also bid farewell to three board members, thanking Maciej Jakubczyk, Becky Parry and Janne Vierth for their loyal service and the insights they shared during their term on the Board.
