Synopsis:
The hybrid format of documentary and animation (AnimaDok) portrays strong women and girls from different backgrounds who develop enormous powers through martial arts, concentration and meditation. The protagonists talk about very personal experiences: They talk about their fears, mental illnesses such as depression and eating disorders, their exclusion and loneliness, and even their longing for death. Through martial arts, however, they have found a way of dealing with their problems that brings them back to life again and again.
