The Visegrad Animation Forum (VAF) has been the largest platform for the animation industry in Central and Eastern Europe. Now there is an ambition to broaden the platform by including other countries, and umbrella all activities under the new CEE Animation brand.
Every year in May CEE welcomes over 150 participants in Třeboň (Czech Republic), for what from now on will be called the CEE Animation Forum, a pitching competition of animation projects, in three categories: short film, series and feature film. During three days, great emphasis is placed on networking in the form of 1:1 meetings or short presentations of countries and studios.
