MOUNTAIN MIRACLE WINS FIRST WARSAW ECFA AWARD

Kino w Trampkach, aka ‘Cinema in Sneakers’ for the first time invited an ECFA jury to Warsaw, to select one title for the ECFA Award. As Kino w Trampkach states: “every film is a journey”… and at the end of the journey, it was MOUNTAIN MIRACLE – AN UNEXPECTED FRIENDSHIP which won the award.

Amelie, the toughest brat in all of Berlin, doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do, least of all her parents. When they send her to a special clinic after another asthma attack, Amelie runs off and flees to a place where no one would expect to find her: on a mountaintop, where she meets a quirky boy named Bart. He knows about an ancient tradition: the Alp Mountain Fires, lighted to cure the sick…

In the Kino w Trampkach ECFA jury were Erik Tijman (Cinekid), Viola Gabrielli (KIDS Regio) and Jan Naszewski (New Europe Film Sales).
