Synopsis:
In 1900’s France, Marie is born deaf and blind, and without the ability to communicate with the world around her. Her parents refuse to send her to an asylum. Instead, they send the now 14-year-old Marie to a school for the deaf, run by Catholic nuns. Based on real events, this is the story of a life-changing journey for Marie, and the nun Marguerite. A journey not only of failures and despondency, but also of enormous faith, hope and love.
