Synopsis:
Animation. One day Kurs discovers that society basically does not respect truck drivers very much. His wife is an ambitious architect. His neighbour is a medical doctor. Not even Kurt's own kids seem to be very happy about their father's occupation. Even if Kurt is popular among his colleagues and likes to drive a truck, he quits his job, and starts climbing the social ladder. He wants to become a doctor, he wants to get rich, and he wants to be somebody. In the end, he even wants to become Prime Minister. But he does not have much success in any of his projects, and as time goes by, Kurt turns - vicious.

Comments:
A family film based on Erlend Loe's books with nice and funny stories for children that contain an extra layer of humor for adults. What is most fascinating is the dialogue, in which the grown-ups talk like children, straight from the heart, simply and naively about big, important themes. The Kurt character appeals to everyone, since he is a grown-up man who is really just a big kid.
