In the 10th jubilee edition of the Cinema in Sneakers festival, held in a hybrid form in Warsaw, the ECFA Award went to LAST FILM SHOW (Pan Nalin), a story set in India but made as an Indian-French co-production.

La Sosteria is a project of urban redevelopment, through a creative re-appropriation of a newsstand in the village of Fiorano, Italy. La Sosteria aims at preserving existing estate, repurposing abandoned infrastructure, and involving the community in a programme of activities.
Mo & Friese stands for short film. All genres, all forms, all ages! One of those short films is LUCE AND THE ROCK, a remarkably absurd and moving story by Britt Raes (Belgium).
In May 2022, European MEDIA funds approved the international Film in Hospital project for two more years. Film in Hospital can now keep striving to grant ill children in hospitals and revalidation centres access to exclusive, festival-quality films and educational materials.

The International. Children’s Film Festival Kristiansand in Norway was handing out two ECFA Awards, one for BUSTER’S WORLD and one for SHABU.
One of the characteristics of KINEKO (Tokyo) is how the festival turns the entire city into a movie theatre: the Teen section was screened at a café and studio in a shopping street, the Kineko Marche took over the Central Square, there were street performance and a Street Piano Event… The most peculiar location was the iTSCOME Studio & Hall, turned into a dream theatre with fluffy cushions and sofas for families to watch films.
The Children’s and Youth Film Competition is one of the most popular sections of the International Kurzfilmtage in Oberhausen. It was this festival that took the initiative for the ECFA Short Award a few years ago, and they still lead the way in awarding prizes until today. Like this year for the Belgian short film CHANNIDAE by Pauline Morel.
