ECFA Award
ECFA has continued to increase its number of members in 2010, and amongst them we find various children's film festivals. Some of our new and old members have expressed a wish to get even more involved in ECFA.
Now, for the very first time, there will be an ECFA jury at a children's film festival, theCiné-Jeune de l'Aisne Festival in St. Quentin, France. The board of ECFA was excited to try this as a pilot project, and they feel that such a jury is a good example of our aim to "coordinate any initiative taken in favour of cinema for children and youth".
The first ECFA jury will consist of three ECFA members, awarding the best European film in competition. We will therefore encourage all our member festivals to consider establishing an ECFA jury in the upcoming year.
